Colors by Llarowe; Oops, She Did it Again!

Hello and happy Tuesday! Today is going to be wonderful!  Why you ask?  Because I'm on my fourth cup of coffee and everything starts to get shiny at that point. :-)  Did I tell you I received a Keurig for Mother's Day?  I did and I am estatic.  I've wanted one forever (I love my coffee) and this one is awesome!  It's the K70/K75 Platinum brewer.  I am seriously spoiled.  A HUGE dollop of love shoved my husband's way. <3  Thank you honey!! I'll have to showcase it here sometime soon.  Maybe with homemade coffee cake. ;-)

Today, though, I have for you a comparison.  I love, love, love blurples.  You know, blue/purples...those colors that can't decide which they are?  Yup, them.  So, when Llarowe came out with Colors by Llarowe and created Smooth Criminal, I snapped that baby up.  It is a gorgeous, deep blurple holographic polish.  You'll see in a minute.  But then some prototypes and/or error polishes were released on a limited basis (Leah Ann, the owner of Llarowe, calls them Oops!) and there was another amazing blurple.  Yes, I tracked it down.  It immediately reminded me of Smooth Criminal.

Oops is on the left and Smooth Criminal is on the right in the below photo.

Oops is the top one in the below photo.

Oops on the bottom in the photo below.

And...on the nail.  Oops is on my pointer and ring finger here.  Can't really tell a difference, can you? :)

While there are slight difference (Oops is a tad darker, less holo, and has bright blue sparks in it) they are very much alike. This is good news to all out there that may have had a hankering for this particular Oops.  No need to go searching high and low, anxiously wanting to pay an arm and a leg for it.  Both are gorgeous!  I hope this post helped someone.

Until next time! <3

Coral, Coral, Coral!

Happy Saturday People! That was a seriously long week. I don't know about you, but I'm glad to be on the other side of it. I had a fun time polish-wise and have lot in store to show you. I've made it a goal to post at least twice a week, so hopefully, you'll be hearing more from me. Now, onto the polish!

For this mani, I choose to put together a couple different polishes.  I used Scofflaw Vanish's Little Edie in the Gray Gardens and Colors by Llarowe Coral Confusion.  I had a feeling they would go well together as the color of Coral really sets off one of the glitters in Little Edie.  You'll see.

Gorgeous, eh?  I love the shimmers in both polishes.  Little Edie has a gray base with buttercup yellow, coral, and lavender glitters with this gorgeous shimmer that shifts from gold to green.  I captured some of it on the nail above but you can see more in the bottle itself.  The polish applied easily and this is two coats with top coat.  I use Seche Vite as my topcoat as it is FAST drying and shiny as all get out.

Coral Confusion is a gorgeous neon coral with pink and coral shimmer.  Really bright and summery.  Again, two easy coats with top coat.  Gorgeous together, aren't they?  I really like how they play to the one another.  With summer showing its face once in a while I wanted to play up that gorgeous coral pink glitter in the Scofflaw.  The CbL (Colors by Llarowe) really did that for me.

Scofflaw Nail Varnish can be purchased here.  The next restock of product is actually tomorrow at 1 PM EST.  I love her polishes, especially the Love Letter series.  Colors by Llarowe can be purchased here.

Also, check out my nail polish sale on Storenvy.  You will find some deals. :)
